HEART OF VERN

Vern Skovpen, born in 2002 in Northern California, United States, is an emerging contemporary painter currently based in Northern California. She is gaining recognition for her striking abstract imagery, which features vivid, euphoric colors and dynamic, smoke-like forms. Working primarily with large-scale oil paintings on canvas, Vern incorporates mixed media, using vintage textiles and imagery to enhance her compositions. Her work is noted for challenging traditional compositional rules and offering a fresh approach to portraiture.
